PTI Hurricane Survivor Charity Benefit Seminar
Tuhon Bill Mcgrath from Pekiti Tirsia International hosted a charity seminar for the Hurricane victims on Saturday, December 3rd 2005. Tuhon Bill covered Pekiti-Tirsia Advanced Single Stick and Guro Rob Mulligan taught Pananandata - Marinas: basic attack and defense, freefighting and traditional Latigo. I taught Espada y Daga Serrada-Abierta techniques, along with Mano Mano and COMJUKAI defense against boxing combinations and club attacks.
My students had a great time at the seminar and enjoyed the material covered by Tuhon Bill Mcgrath, and Guro Rob Mulligan. Participants from different styles/systems of FMA came together to support a very worthy cause. Everyone had a great experience and we all made some new friends.
Overall, it was a very positive experience. Tuhon Bill and Guro Rob are two of the most down to earth individuals that I have come across here in the FMA community. I look forward to working with these two gentleman again.
